Amazon thriller ‘The Bluff' with Priyanka Chopra Jonas to shoot in Australia

Frank E. Flowers’ The Bluff is set to shoot in Australia later this spring for Prime Video.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas will star as a former pirate whose past begins to catch up with her when her island is invaded by buccaneers. Karl Urban is reportedly in talks to star also.

The film is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, AGBO Studios, Cinestar Pictures and Chopra Jonas. It will be released through Prime Video.

Zoe Saldana, who co-founded Cinestar with her two sisters, was originally attached to star in the feature.

The project follows Chopra Jonas’ previous collaboration with Amazon and AGBO on thriller series Citadel alongside Richard Madden. She also stars in the streamer’s upcoming spy title Heads Of State with John Cena and Idris Elba.

Flowers, who co-wrote Bob Marley: One Love, penned The Bluff with Joe Ballarini.
