Sci-fi ‘World Breaker' starring Luke Evans filming in Northern Ireland

Brad Anderson’s sci-fi action thriller World Breaker has begun filming in Northern Ireland.

The film is shooting on location with support from Northern Ireland Screen with production expected to last five weeks.

Luke Evans stars in World Breaker stars alongside Resident Evil’s Milla Jovovich. The story centres around a father and daughter sheltering on an island after dangerous creatures from another dimension entered through a tear in reality.

Martin Brennan of 23ten is producing the feature and has US rights while The Exchange is handling international sales.

A live-action remake of How To Train Your Dragon is also shooting in Northern Ireland.
