Netflix’s Wednesday has begun production on series two in Ireland after delays from last year's WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

The Addams’ Family spin-off shot its first series in Romania for seven months across 2021 and 2022.

Jenna Ortega returns to star while several new cast members have joined including Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper and Evie Templeton. Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton and Frances O’Connor will also make guest appearances.

Other returning cast members include Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo.

Wednesday was created by Al Gough and Miles Millar and is executive produced by Tim Burton, who also serves as director.
