‘Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy' begins filming in London

British romantic comedy Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy has begun filming in London.

The fourth instalment sees Renee Zellweger reprise her role as the titular Bridget Jones, now a single mother in her early fifties. Hugh Grant, Sally Phillips and Emma Thompson are also returning while new cast members include Leo Woodall and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Michael Morris is directing while Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Jo Wallett of Working Title Films are producing. The story is based on the third Bridget Jones novel by author Helen Fielding.

Universal will distribute Mad About The Boy via Peacock on February 14, 2025.
