Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for Where’s Wanda?, the streamer's first German-language series produced by UFA Fiction.
The eight-part series stars Heike Makatsch, best known for her role in Love Actually, alongside The Vault's Axel Stein, Lea Drinda, newcomer Leo Simon, Nikeata Thompson, Palina Rojinski, Kostja Ullmann and Harriet Herbig-Matten.
Where's Wanda? tells the story of Dedo and Carlotta Klatt (played by Stein and Makatsch respectively), who are desperate to locate their missing 17-year-old daughter Wanda (Drinda), who disappeared months ago without a trace. When the police fail to find her, the family takes matters into their own hands.
Hailing from UFA Fiction, a Fremantle company, Where’s Wanda? is created, written and executive produced by Flack's Oliver Lansley alongside executive producers Nataly Kudiabor and Sebastian Werninger. The series is co-created and based on a story by Zoltan Spirandelli.
Christian Ditter, Tobi Baumann and Facundo Scalerandi direct, with Ditter also serving as an executive producer.
