Apple drama Ghosted starring Chris Evans to shoot in Atlanta and Washington DC

The romantic-action drama is being adapted by Deadpool writing duo Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

Apple Original film Ghosted, starring Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, will start shooting in Atlanta and Washington DC in February.

The drama, created and written by Deadpool and Zombieland screenwriters, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick for Skydance, is being described as a high-concept romantic action adventure similar to the1984 classic Romancing the Stone.  

Dexter Fletcher (Rocket Man, Wild Bill) is set to direct with Reese and Wernick serving as producers alongside Evans and Jules Daly. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger are also producing for Skydance with de Armas to exec produce.

The project joins Darren LeGallo's indie Sam and Kate, starring Dustin Hoffman and Sissy Spacek, which is also set to film in the state of Georgia in February.
